Holiday Style Made Simple!

It’s that time again! Holiday lights, holiday shopping (if that’s what you do), & holiday dinners, and straight up holiday parties filled with holiday spirits (and by spirits, I mean Cîroc, Apple Crown Royal, Rose’, I’m sure you can add to this list!) My favorite part in all of this is that holiday party attire!

What do you wear to a holiday party? When you hear this question what do you think of? Maybe you’re thinking of a little black or red dress, a sequin dress or top.  Maybe you’re thinking of one of those solid color strapless or spaghetti strap silk, flow-y dresses?

Well, how about switching it up a little bit and playing around with some prints? One print some tend to shy away from is plaid. But we can have fun with plaid at those holiday parties. How? I’m so glad you asked! To answer that question, I put together a few looks below using the same high-collared sleeveless plaid dress to give you some ideas. The looks will have short descriptions to make your holiday party styling simple!

I would love to see what you put together for your holiday looks! So, email me your pictures or tag me in your social media posts! If you have any styling questions for your party hopping or for anything else, send those questions my way!

Stretch Plaid, High-Collared, Sleeveless Dress with flattering silhouette and no spanx needed with a stretch plaid!
Pair plaid with a loud printed shoe; I chose a platform boot which gives this a vintage look. You can throw just about any duster or jacket over the dress. If you are feeling like a plaid Queen, then put plaid on plaid!

Another option for shoes? Go for the sparkle! Try wearing shimmer tights with open toe shoes!
Let's not forget the faux fur; a crop jacket, long jacket, or a coat! Any color will work. I chose faux fur with plum, brown, black, and nude. Take the same idea of the sparkle shoes and shimmer tights to set this look off!
