Alert: The tone of this post is slightly starchy. It's good to
talk about your plans and your expertise.
It's a way of networking. No one really cares about the words you speak. What
you have done and what you can show means more. I've ran into people who like
to talk about (or have other people do the talking) their expertise and what
they can do, but turn out to be flakes. #Not interested
I believe planning, with deadlines, is the best way to plan! Let me venture out and say,
however, you can plan too much. At some point action is necessary. After awhile
you just have to trust that the current plan, with adjustments, is going to
work...after you do.
